The Web’s Most Trusted Security Provider
VeriSign is the SSL Certificate provider of choice for over 93% of the Fortune 500 and the world’s 40 largest banks, businesses that know the most about Internet security.
(E-Commerce, Trust, and SSL.)
They trust VeriSign because of our encryption technology and rigorous business authentication practices. When you protect your site with Secure Site and display the VeriSign Secured Seal,
your customers know that their transactions are secure and you are who you say you are.
“We posted the VeriSign Secured Seal on the payment pages and found that completed sales rose by approximately 10% in comparison to the previous week’s results.”
Warren Jonas, Head of Service Management, Opodo.
40-Bit to 256-Bit SSL Encryption
Non-SGC SSL Certificates provide a minimum of 40-bit and up to 256-bit SSL encryption. Site visitors using certain older browsers and many Windows 2000 users will only receive 40- or 56-bit encryption unless they’re connecting to an SGC-enabled SSL Certificate. Other SSL providers claim to offer ‘128-bit certificates’, but they cannot guarantee 128-bit SSL encryption to most site visitors. VeriSign is the only leading SSL provider of SGC-enabled SSL Certificates, enabling 128 or 256-bit encryption to over 99.9% of Web site visitors.
(SGC: Strongest SSL Encryption.)
To ensure the strongest encryption available, choose Secure Site Pro.
Customer Confidence in the Green Address Bar
Extended Validation SSL gives Web site visitors an easy and reliable way to establish trust online. Only SSL Certificates with Extended Validation (EV) will trigger new Web browsers to display a green address bar next to your name and the name of your SSL provider. For added customer confidence and better online performance, choose Secure Site EV SSL Certificates.
