Installing your SSL Certificate / Web Server Certificate / Secure Server Certificate from ssl247.co.uk

Firstly when your issuance email arrives you will have your web server certificate in the email.

Copy your web server certificate into a text editor such as notepad and save as yourdomain.txt.

1. Select the Web icon from the Admin Server control panel.
2. Select the SSL Certificates button.
3. Select Replace Certificate for the relevant website.
4. Copy and paste the yourdomain.txt you have just created into the Signed Certificate box. Click OK.
5. Click Accept This Certificate.
6. Click the Home button.
7. Check the box next to the virtual server to configure and select configure.
8. Click the SSL Enabled link on the page presented.
9. In the Enabling SSL Security section select SSL Enabled and select the relevant certificate to be used from the drop down menu.
10. Apply and commit the changes and restart the webserver to complete the install.

Test your certificate by connecting to your server.
Use the https protocol directive (e.g. https://your server/) to indicate you wish to use secure HTTP.

Note: The padlock icon on your Web browser will be displayed in the locked position if you have set up your site properly.
