Q: Which certificate do most of your customers use and why?
A: RapidSSL Pro is by far our most popular certificate, due to it's £10,000 warranty, massive multi-year discounts, and peace-of-mind reissuance insurance, plus upgraded support package. RapidSSL Pro is high-strength, highly-trusted 128/256 bit SSL, with free site seal, lifetime reissuance and 1-on-1 walkthrough support: it represents the best value for your SSL budget. Q: Do you issue trial certificates?

Q: Will your certs work with my webserver/mailserver?
A: All our SSL certs work with all major web- and mail-servers. We have detailed CSR and installation instructions for the below list. Don't worry if you are not sure about which server you have, in most cases we can detect this for you:

Apache / ApacheSSL / ModSSL / OpenSSL / SSLEAY Mail server software: Click here for ChainedSSL Wildcard installation instructions |
Q: I don't know what sort of webserver I have because I use a hosting company. Can I still use ssl247.co.uk?
A: Not a problem. You might have to talk to your host or put in a request to get them to generate a CSR for you. You can then order via us, and send them your certificate to install on your behalf. The important thing to remember is that you are the customer - so it is your choice which SSL provider to go with. Many web hosts get financial kickbacks for persuading their customers that they have to chose a certain SSL provider at an inflated price.
Q: What if I can't get my cert to work, and I've tried the online installation instructions?
A: No problem - just contact us! All our certs are delivered with details of how to contact tech support via email and phone. We've yet to come across a problem we couldn't resolve (even the one about Oracle Wallet Manager 3.0 with the 9.2.0.3 patchset!). We'll get our experienced engineers to take a look - all part of the service and includedin the price of your cert.
